Directions to St. Edwards

St. Edwards College is located in North Drive, Sandfield Park, West Derby, Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom.

Sandfield Park is a private estate, although St. Edwards is signposted from Eaton Road, West Derby.

The entrance to Sandfield Park is oposite some shops on Eaton Road, and runs alongside "Walker's" playing field.

The best way to find St. Edwards is from the "Jolly Miller" pub, Queens Drive, Liverpool. From the "Jolly Miller" follow the sign for "West Derby" (heading away from the city centre) along the narrow and tree lined Mill Lane, keeping right as this becomes Barnfield Drive, and turning right into Eaton Road at the "Bill Shankly Playing Fields". Sandfield Park is aprox half a mile along Eaton Road from here, and is behind "Walker's" playing field. Keep a look out for the "St. Edwards" signpost.

Alternatively, from East Prescot Road follow the signs for "Alder Hey Children's Hospital" which is actually located on Eaton Road. Sandfield Park is aprox half a mile past Alder Hey heading towards West Derby Village.

Facilities at St Edwards

St. Edwards has parking for aprox 60 cars in the main car park, although priority is always given to cars on official school business. At times you may need to park on North Drive outside the main entrance.

Follow the signs for, and go right through the sports complex, which also has excellent changing rooms. It is here where you can find hot and cold drinks machines, toilets etc.

Football coaching takes place, in summer, on the rugby field and in winter on the astroturf under the floodlights.
